Dear Prof P. Pramanik:
We appreciate your comments on our posting. The claims that all theories within modern science are verified/explained experimentally are in need of a proper investigation. For example,
(1) Where is the experimental proof for producing life from chemicals?
(2) Where is the proof for producing the universe from a bang? Even till date we have not produced a tiny bacteria or even a small house from a bang. Thus universe is a very far claim.
(3) Where is the experimental proof for man coming from the ape or vice-versa?
And the list continues if we introspect honestly. Modern science has never focused on the purpose of the existence of life. They begin with chemicals and end up with chemicals (atoms and molecules). As it was discussed before that chemicals may not search for happiness, but we do. What is the theory in modern educational system to explain the science of happiness?
It seems they have neglected our basic requirements as living beings by considering all of us as some products of chemicals. There is no scientific/experimental proof for such a claim that life has indeed arisen from dead atoms, molecules and their combinations. It means such theories are simply some kind of faith and lack any sound scientific basis. In fact modern science is based on faith which many scientists may not realize. Those scientists who reject religion as blind faith are not true scientists. Sincere scientists such as Einstein, Newton and others always appreciated the bonafide religious conceptions. Those who want to comment on any religious thoughts must not forget the scientific approach in doing that. When we attempt to write a quality technical paper we always cite references to our claims. When we intend to say anything substantial about any religion the scientific process must be carefully followed.
On the other hand, the religion openly accepts the faith which is a prime quality of every living being. We are not only dependent on our brain but we depend on our heart as well. As we have explained before that we simply depend on the authority of mother to know our father. We may use our brain to know our father but how far we will be successful that is to be analyzed scientifically. If that is the case to find our father then why we think that we can find the father/origin of a species by our tiny brain. The reality is infinite and we are insignificantly finite. Hence our brain capacity can’t approach and capture the reality as it is. We must study the science of faith properly to realize its importance and its ontological position in every step of our life. Those religionists who are aggressive towards science have not truly understood what religion is. True religion does not reject any thing as useless. Ture religion helps the individual to engage everything for the satisfaction of the root cause. Ordinary science without religion is partial understanding of reality. However, religion makes it complete. Hence there is a need of synthesis of science and religion.
Thanking you.
Sincerely,
There are problems to whose solution I would attach an infinitely greater importance than to those of mathematics, for example touching ethics, or our relation to God, or concerning our destiny and our future; but their solution lies wholly beyond us and completely outside the province of science.
